Transporting the wolf cubs to LUPO Sanctuary

Today, we have the opportunity to transport four wolf cubs to LUPO Sanctuary, located in Ontario. Each of them is placed in its own cage to ensure their safety during the journey. The transfer went smoothly, in complete calm, over several kilometers to the Appalachians Park.

We were supported by several dedicated volunteers, ready to assist us in ensuring strict adherence to the safety protocol. Each one understands their role perfectly, ensuring that the wolf cubs are comfortably settled in their new enclosure. We take the time to welcome them, spending several minutes with each wolf.

The enclosure was built with love, with the intention of passing on this love to the wolf cubs. To ensure their safety and well-being, meat will be automatically provided to them during their exploration of their new residence.

This moment is particularly moving for the founder, after five years of preparation and a fourteen-hour journey to retrieve the wolf cubs. It is important to remember that in the Lower Saint Lawrence region, wolves were exterminated by humans a century ago. Therefore, these wolf cubs are the first to be introduced to the region in many years.

We finally arrive in Sainte-Apolline-de-Patton, after all this time spent preparing for this long-awaited moment.
