Guided tour: Edible plants of the LUPO Wolf Sanctuary

Come explore our 73 acres of land with one of our guides and discover the edible and medicinal plants of our territory.

During this 90-minute tour, you will learn to identify more than ten edible plants and gain a richer understanding of our forest ecosystems. The flora of the Appalachians is teeming with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Roots, shoots, leaves, flowers, tubers, fruits, and seeds are at your fingertips and just waiting to be known. This walk is intended for both the curious and the more experienced. You will learn to use an identification key and the commonly used botanical terms.

A few important details:

• The activity takes place regardless of the weather. Please dress accordingly;
• Bring waterproof boots, as the terrain is partially in a wet environment;
• Bring a notebook and a pencil;
• Bring your water bottle and a snack (snacks are available at the shop in case you forget);
• Pets are not allowed on the site;
• No refunds are offered, only a credit in case of cancellation.
